THE CIRCUIT OF VOLCANO OF CHIROUSES

General information : The circuit of volcano of Chirouses at summer created on the initiative of a local association, PPAM, whose social object is the safeguard and the promotion of the unit constitutive of the local inheritance. This circuit is located in the area of Boutieres, zone of medium moutains located it even at the heart of the very new Regional Natural Reserve of The Mounts of Ardeche.
This circuit is characterized by an extraordinary variety of landscapes : edges of rivers rafraichissants, greenhouses with the sight panoramic, hamlets of medieval time to the rich stones of history, covered meadows of glowers in spring, and of course the impressive crossing of the fall of the volcano. But one should never forget that these landscapes were patiently worked, during centuries, by the men, and that their meeting, with the turning of a way, fact part of the pleasure of the discovery.

Situation : The departure is done near the castle of Clap on the commune of Pranles  (arrow carpark), access by D 344, with a dozen kilometers in the north od Deprived direction Cheylard. One can provide oneself with chart IGN to1/25000 2937 Est.
Recommendations : A good pair of walking shoes is essential ... The crossing circuit of many zones of pastures, the presence of the dogs is to be avoided. In the country cas, it must absolutely be help leaves some. Several doors are be crossed : to leave in tne state where one finds them before passage (opened or closed). To envisage a breakage-crust for midday : superb possible site in edge of river
